Stella is a barn owl with a gentle, smiling face, her dark eyes set wide in a heart-shaped disc with a defined beak and a softly curved mouth line. Her folded wings are carved in clean, even feather ridges that taper to a long tail, and small natural knots in the cedar show on her chest and back as one-off markings.
She perches on a dark, bark-textured log base with her talons carved onto the cut top. At 600mm tall, Stella is a good size for a doorstep, patio or garden wall. Like every carving we make, she’s chainsaw carved from cedar in the Forest of Dean and is one of a kind, making a distinctive handmade garden ornament or gift.
Let Stella bring a touch of nature’s wisdom to your home!

This Owl is cut from a log which will over time dry out – cracking may occur and this should be viewed as a feature and not a fault.
To significantly reduce the risk of cracking please place your sculpture outside in full shade on a well drained spot.
In subsequent years the sculpture should be treated with preservative to ensure a prolonged life.
