Asha is a tall, graceful barn owl sculpture who looks straight at you with polished black eyes set in a heart-shaped face, a long central beak and a finely combed rim. Her head sits proudly on a smooth, hand-gouged neck and chest, left in the natural light honey tone of the cedar.
Her folded wings are the focal point: bold, overlapping feather ridges burnt dark, with the scorching fading from near-black to golden along the edges, running down into a long, pointed tail. She stands with her feet planted wide and long talons stretched across the ringed top of a bark-carved log, which gives her a poised, balanced stance. At 700mm tall and 300mm across, Asha is one of our taller barn owls, a statement wooden owl for a gatepost, patio, front door or woodland garden. Like every carving we make, she is chainsaw carved in the Forest of Dean and is one of a kind, a handmade garden ornament or a gift for an owl lover.

Care Instructions
Wipe with a dry or slightly damp cloth. Place outside in FULL SHADE on a well drained spot.
This Owl is cut from a log which will over time dry out – cracking may occur and this should be viewed as a feature and not a fault.
To significantly reduce the risk of cracking please place your sculpture outside in full shade on a well drained spot.
In subsequent years the sculpture should be treated with preservative to ensure a prolonged life.
