Bramble is a tall, hand carved barn owl sculpture left in the natural pale tone of the cedar, so the grain glows against the darker bark of his log base. He stands with his head turned over his shoulder, his round black eyes set in a heart-shaped facial disc with a finely combed edge and a long central beak.
His wings are the showpiece: deep, overlapping feather ridges, each one scorched dark along its edge to stand out against the smooth, scooped chiselling across his chest and back, which carries a few small natural knots in the wood. At 800mm tall he is one of the largest owls we carve, a statement wooden owl for a gatepost, front step, patio or woodland garden. Like every carving we make, Bramble is chainsaw carved in the Forest of Dean and is one of a kind, a handmade garden ornament or a gift for an owl lover.

Care Instructions
Wipe with a dry or slightly damp cloth. Place outside in FULL SHADE on a well drained spot.
This Owl is cut from a log which will over time dry out – cracking may occur and this should be viewed as a feature and not a fault.
To significantly reduce the risk of cracking please place your sculpture outside in full shade on a well drained spot.
In subsequent years the sculpture should be treated with preservative to ensure a prolonged life.
