Dixie is a large barn owl carving, chainsaw sculpted from solid cedar to approx 90cm tall. Being one of our bigger pieces, Dixie is carved in two separate sections – the owl itself sits on its own base disc, which slots neatly onto the top of the display post rather than being carved from one continuous log.
This two-piece design means Dixie can be posted safely in two lighter, more manageable parcels rather than one large, heavy one, keeping delivery straightforward for a carving of this size. Simply set the base disc onto the post and stand the owl on top – no fixings or tools needed. As with every piece we carve, Dixie is entirely one of a kind.

Care Instructions
Wipe with a dry or slightly damp cloth. Place outside in FULL SHADE on a well drained spot.
This owl is cut from a log which will over time dry out – cracking may occur and this should be viewed as a feature and not a fault. To significantly reduce the risk of cracking please place your sculpture outside in full shade on a well drained spot. In subsequent years the sculpture should be treated with preservative to ensure a prolonged life.
