Lemi is a barn owl sculpture with a warm, glowing finish, her golden-amber cedar deepening to burnt orange across the body so she looks lit by late sun. Glossy black eyes sit in a heart-shaped face with a deep, tilted beak and finely combed rays, and her head tilts a little as though she has just noticed you.
Her folded wings are cut in bold, stepped feather ridges scorched dark along each edge, flowing into a long, tapered tail, while her chest and back carry hand-scooped feather marks with the occasional natural knot in the wood. She grips the sawn, ringed top of a bark-carved log with powerful, finely detailed talons. At 700mm tall and 300mm across, Lemi is a striking wooden owl for a gatepost, patio, front door or garden border. Like every carving we make, she is chainsaw carved in the Forest of Dean and is one of a kind, a handmade garden ornament or gift for an owl lover.

Care Instructions
Wipe with a dry or slightly damp cloth. Place outside in FULL SHADE on a well drained spot.
This Owl is cut from a log which will over time dry out – cracking may occur and this should be viewed as a feature and not a fault.
To significantly reduce the risk of cracking please place your sculpture outside in full shade on a well drained spot.
In subsequent years the sculpture should be treated with preservative to ensure a prolonged life.
