Moss is a barn owl carved with a soft, steady gaze, his dark eyes set into a rounded heart-shaped face with a long, defined beak. His folded wings are worked in deep, flowing feather ridges with darker burnished tips, and the fine chisel texture across his head and chest gives him a warm, almost downy look.
He stands with his talons carved onto the cut top of a dark, bark-textured log base. At 600mm tall, Moss is a good size for a doorstep, patio or garden wall. Like every carving we make, he’s chainsaw carved from cedar in the Forest of Dean and is one of a kind, making a distinctive handmade garden ornament or gift.

Care Instructions
Wipe with a dry or slightly damp cloth. Place outside in FULL SHADE on a well drained spot.
This Owl is cut from a log which will over time dry out – cracking may occur and this should be viewed as a feature and not a fault.
To significantly reduce the risk of cracking please place your sculpture outside in full shade on a well drained spot.
In subsequent years the sculpture should be treated with preservative to ensure a prolonged life.
