Pebble is a plump, rounded barn owl sculpture, and his smooth, stone-like shape is where he gets his name. His head tilts a little to one side above a broad heart-shaped face, with glossy black eyes, a deep central beak ridge and a finely combed rim, all left in the pale, natural tone of the cedar.
The broad chest and back are shaped by hand into soft, overlapping scoops, while his folded wings are cut in deep feather ridges that are scorched dark along the edges and finish in long, tapering flight feathers. He grips the wide, ringed top of a bark-carved log base with neat talons. At 800mm tall and 300mm across, Pebble is a chunky, substantial wooden owl for a gatepost, patio, front door or woodland corner. Like every carving we make, he is chainsaw carved in the Forest of Dean and is one of a kind, a handmade garden ornament or gift for an owl lover.

Care Instructions
Wipe with a dry or slightly damp cloth. Place outside in FULL SHADE on a well drained spot.
This Owl is cut from a log which will over time dry out – cracking may occur and this should be viewed as a feature and not a fault.
To significantly reduce the risk of cracking please place your sculpture outside in full shade on a well drained spot.
In subsequent years the sculpture should be treated with preservative to ensure a prolonged life.
