Alfie is a long-eared owl, carved with the tall, upright ear tufts that give the species its name and set him apart from our barn and tawny owls. His eyes are carved wide and dark, and his feathers run in fine vertical lines down a slim, upright body.
At 580mm tall, he’s a striking, slightly unusual addition to a garden thanks to those tufts. Chainsaw carved from a single length of cedar, so his colouring and grain are entirely his own.
Let Alfie bring a touch of nature’s wisdom to your home!

This Owl is cut from a log which will over time dry out – cracking may occur and this should be viewed as a feature and not a fault.
To significantly reduce the risk of cracking please place your sculpture outside in full shade on a well drained spot.
In subsequent years the sculpture should be treated with preservative to ensure a prolonged life.
