Milo is carved looking back over his own shoulder, rather than facing forward like most of our owls, which gives him a more alert, watchful pose. His feathers run in fine horizontal bands the whole way down, and he’s mounted on a dark-stained base for contrast.
At 580mm tall, he’s a good mid-size piece for a garden bed, porch or doorway. Chainsaw carved from a single length of cedar, so the grain and colouring are entirely his own.

Care Instructions
Wipe with a dry or slightly damp cloth. Place outside in FULL SHADE on a well drained spot.
This Owl is cut from a log which will over time dry out – cracking may occur and this should be viewed as a feature and not a fault.
To significantly reduce the risk of cracking please place your sculpture outside in full shade on a well drained spot.
In subsequent years the sculpture should be treated with preservative to ensure a prolonged life.
